This a special sighting on what was such an amazing trip for my dad, @imcadders & I! We saw over 150 lions, 15 cheetah and a leopard plus so much more over 13 days and 7 national parks in Kenya and Tanzania. We saw so much our bucket lists got stupid, and my dads wish was to have 2 brother lions patrolling their territory. We didn’t get quite that but a few moments later came across these 2 brothers on a kill. Dad & I at the original Yankees Stadium in its final year, 2008. We went for the final old timers day at the stadium in August 2008 and we got to see many of the players he had loved when he was younger. It was the first of a few amazing father/son trips we took together and I’m so thankful for those times with him. It’s so hard to see him struggle after suffering a stroke 10 days ago, but I’m glad that dad is still with us. My dad and I in July 2017 in Tsavo West, Kenya. I’m thankful I’ve had the opportunity to take a few trips with dad. He’s been more than dad, he’s a best friend, hero and so much more. He’s a man that all his children and grandchildren look up too. Last week he suffered a stroke and is currently in recovery. It’s hard to see my dad like that, but at the same time I’m glad I still have my dad.
